Indian Sandstone – by definition should be carried out by a Stone professional not a Carpet Cleaner. Good Stone tile knowledge is essential for identification purposes.
Indian Sandstone Cleaning is and should be a sympathetic process. Many of the existing marks and colouring will and should remain after cleaning. Flagstones always tell a story of the past. This should never be removed.
Traditional Flagstone cleaning involves the initial appraisal of the degree of wear, contamination and desired final appearance.
Methods used depend on the size of Job and Location.
We protect all adjacent surfaces for protection should they need it.
Indian Sandstone will then be cleaned with a ph neutral detergent.
Purely ingrained contamination is removed by the introduction of slow rotational machinery and selected floor pads coupled up with a solution of Fila products from Italy or as preferred a lithofin product.
In Addition. Colour Enhancement can be administered.
In time with our in house processes we generate a surfaces that becomes bright and vibrant and clean again including the Grout Joints.
Joints are often completely removed and re-pointed.
